Nickie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Thomas and his wife Katherine. She is survived by her two children, Carolyn Hutson and her husband Guy, Marilyn Thomson; five grandchildren, Nolan Hutson, Britt McCormick, Darvin Hutson, Darrell McCormick, Warren Thurman; five great grandchildren, Erin McCormick, Clinton Hutson, Tyler McCormick, Brittany McCormick, Maigan McCormick, Holden Hutson; two great great grandchildren, Joleigh Williams, Laddie Wade Williams; two nephews, Ray Dalton Thomas, Chris Thomas, and a host of other family members and friends. The family will receive friends for a memoral service Friday, December 23, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
