Mary Leona Wheatley, age 87 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Village of Lebanon. She was born on October 3, 1929 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Wheatley was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Wheatley (1995); parents, James Lester and Mary Josephine Ryan Bland; step-mother, Julie Bland; son, William Darrell Wheatley; sister, Frances Spalding; brother, J.L. Bland; step-brother, Freddie Bland.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Nadine (Ed) Sharp, Teresa Carolyn (Jimmy) Morgeson, Jan Rita (Jay) Darling, Denise Marie Wheatley; two sons, John Bernard (Sandy) Wheatley, Paul Jeffrey (Jennifer) Wheatley; daughter-in-law, Cathy Wheatley; four sisters, Adeline Fowler, Teresa Russell, Linda Ford, Mary Virginia Cecil. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Charles Church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 Monday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
