Mrs. Brenda Lee Sloan, age 68, of Bowdon, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was born November 29, 1948 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Merlin Lee and the late Mae Bell Bryan Lee. She was retired from South Wire with over seventeen years of employment in the ITS Department and she was a member of Tyus Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Dale Sloan; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon & Lisa Higginbotham of Marietta; sister, Betty Lee of Bowdon; and three grandchildren: Sydney, Leah, and J. P. Higginbotham. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Tyus Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Bryan and Rev. Justin Richards officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Greg Crews, Ricky Presnell, Kenny Bryan, Brandon Higginbotham, Joe Quarttini, and Gearold Thompson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
