Roger D. Jordan, age 68, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his home. He was born July 2, 1948 in McArthur, Ohio, the son of the late Willis Foster Jordan and Fostina Mae South Jordan. Roger was retired from Buckeye Automotive in McArthur where he was employed as a machinist. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Fellowship Church in Wellston, and in his spare time, Roger enjoyed restoring old cars and going camping. Roger is survived by his wife, Linda S. Moore Jordan; children, Jeff Jordan (Billie Jo) of Dundas, Lisa Jordan of Allensville and Joanie Smith (Daniel) of McArthur; step-daughter, Tina Johnston of McArthur; brothers, Richard Jordan (Betty) of McArthur and Bill Jordan (Sharon) of Wellston, along with 6 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, James Jordan, and step-son, Brian Johnston. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 6 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where his funeral service will begin at 6 P.M. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. In keeping with Roger's wishes, cremation will follow the service. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Bell Cemetery in Allensville.
