Bobby Lee Hanson, Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away on December 3, 2016. He was born in Oslo, Norway to parents Bobby Lee Hanson, Sr. and Gunvor (Gwen) Hanson. Bobby was an Eagle Scout before his service time in the United States Air Force with an honorable discharge. After the Air Force, Bobby had a successful 21 year career in Civil Service where he had many accolades including Civilian of the year! After retirement from Civil Service, he joined the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office as a Posse member. After a tragic accident while on duty, he had a long recovery. While recovering he was recognized for his service and was awarded The Purple Heart award from The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby L. Hanson, Sr. and brother, Richard E. Hanson. Bobby is survived by his mother, Gwen Hanson; his brothers, Royce Hanson, wife Kathy; Craig Hanson, wife Teresa; his son, Bobby L Hanson, III, wife, Tracy and twin granddaughters, Harper and Camilla.
