Martha Frances Pierce 78, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

She was born March 16, 1938, in Hopkinsville KY, daughter of the late John J. and Irene Walker Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband J.W. Pierce and brother, Roy Jackson.

She was a pre-school teacher at First United Methodist Church CDM.

Survivors include her son, Bryan Pierce and wife Karen, daughter, Melissa P Edge and husband Tracy, brother, Johnny Jackson, grandchildren, Jeremy Pierce (Teddi), Darr Strait (Aisy), Kristen Mathews (Garret), Hannah Edge, Pierce Edge and great-grandchild, Drake Strait.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 23, 2016, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:50.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church "Child Development Ministry", 904-65th Ave N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
