AGE 43 YEARS
Scott E. Phillips, of Plunketts Creek Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, after being stricken at work.
He was a son of Edward L. and Margaret Roles Phillips.
Scott was a truck driver for Matthew Bower Trucking. He loved NASCAR, carpentry, woodworking and his family.
He was predeceased by his father.
Scott is survived by his mother, of Williamsport; his wife of 18 years, the former Amy S. Evans; daughters, Emily V. (Dustin) Eck, of Nisbet, Cherokee R. Phillips and Sequoia Phillips, both at home; a brother, John Phillips, of Williamsport; sisters, Della M. Street, of Montoursville, Dr. Lynne M. (Dennis) Koch, of Spartenburg, S.C. and two grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 at the Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, 4980 Lycoming Mall Drive, Montoursville, with Pastor Tim Fox officiating.
Interment will follow in Barbours Cemetery.
