Helen Taylor passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 88 years on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at 10 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene. Nina was born on Jan. 26, 1928, to M.O. and Bertha (Bowden) Teeter on Crow Mountain in Pope County near Pottsville, AR. She graduated from New Deal High School. On Jan. 27, 1949, she married the love of her life, Roy B. Taylor in Lubbock.

Nina was a homemaker and after raising her children she worked for Hemphill Wells before joining her husband in the family business, Roy B. Taylor Sales. Nina's joy in life was spending time with her family.

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She is preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Roy B. Taylor; her parents; a brother, Clayton Teeter; and two sisters, Lora Woods, and Oleta Price.

Nina is survived by her son, Ronnie Taylor and wife, Carolyn of Lubbock; a daughter, Sherry McCallon and husband, Byron of Wolfforth; four granddaughters, Lindsee Taylor, Jamie McCallon, and Michelle Airhart and husband, Colton, all of Lubbock, and Courtney Taylor of Wylie; and four great-grandchildren, Austin and Corbin Airhart, and Emoree and Kynzee Bethany.
