Funeral services for Mr. Frank Stanton of Vaiden will be at 3:00p.m. on Friday, December 23, at Vaiden Baptist Church in Vaiden, with burial following in the Vaiden
Cemetery. Rev. Dean Stewart will officiate the services.

Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from noon until service time.

Mr. Stanton, 81, died at University Medical Center in Jackson on Wednesday, December 21. He was born in Carroll County on July 14, 1935, to Joseph Monroe and Gladys Parker Stanton. He was a graduate of Vaiden High School and Holmes Junior College, and also served in the Army National Guard. He was a retired cattleman, businessman, and Farm Bureau agent. Mr. Stanton was a member of Vaiden Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was very active in all parts of the church. He loved his family, his church, and his cattle. Mr. Stanton was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Bobby Joe, Harold, and Bill Stanton.

Mr. Stanton is survived by his wife, Floyce Ferguson Stanton of Vaiden; his daughters, Sherrie Stanton Blaine of Winona and Suzanne Stanton Watkins of Winona; his son, Durward Stanton of Vaiden, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kent Blaine, Dwight Stanton, Jonathan Stanton, Ben Stanton, Stanton Watkins, and Greg Watkins.
