(June 5, 1939 - December 19, 2016)

Mattawamkeag-Katherine Anne (Gordon) Gagnon, age 77, slipped away from this life on Monday December 19, 2016. She was born on June 5, 1939 to the late Leila and Stephen Gordon of Lincoln, Maine. Kathy worked for 10 years as an Ed. Tech at Dr. Carl Trout School Mattawamkeag. She was a founding member of the Tuesday Club. Kathy was a very crafty person and she enjoyed weaving baskets and painting which were often given as gifts to others. She loved to shop and was an avid reader. Kathy was a loving mother and wife to her husband and family. She graduated from Mattanawcook High School in 1957. She is survived by her lifelong friend and husband for 57 years Galen G. Gagnon, a son Jason A. Gagnon and two beautiful grandchildren, Sarah and Garret Gagnon. A brother Wayne Gordon and his wife Carole of Connecticut. A daughter-in-law Delia (Gagnon) Doan and her children Valerie Caras and her husband Adam and Andrew “A..J.” Thompson, who all loved her dearly. Also a dear life long friend Constance Cahill. Kathy will be missed by many Nieces and Nephews and Friends. Family and Friends may gather at Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln on Thursday, December 22 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Lincoln at 10:00 a.m. on Friday December 23rd.
