James David Judy, Sr., 69, beloved husband of Patricia Ann Gaster Judy, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 19, 2016 at Regency Hospital of Florence.
Mr. Judy was born the son of Charles Allen Judy, Sr. and Betty Benton Judy on December 8, 1947 in Ridgeland. He was a retired employee with D&J Truck and Trailer Repair. He was a member of the Georgetown First Assembly of God where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Carolina Masonic Lodge #375, Hanahan, SC.
James and Patricia were married on April 6, 1972 and celebrated 44 years together. Their home was blessed with: three children, James David (Gina) Judy, Jr., Tammy Stewart, and Debborah (Jeff) Moore; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Angel, Megan, Ericia, Joshua, Marie, and Amber; and four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Layla, Paighlynn, and Grayson. He also leaves behind: two brothers, Andy (Melody) Judy and Michael (Tammy) Judy; and two sister-in-laws, Diann Judy and Susan Judy.
He was predeceased by: his parents; twin children; and two brothers, Charles Allen Judy and John Edward Judy.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Georgetown First Assembly of God. Internment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Judy family will receive family and friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30PM in the Church sanctuary.
