MOULTRIE — Elaine Walden Gibson, 71, of Moultrie died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at Park Regency. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Edward Walden, Blaine Walden, Jody Redding, Paul Gibson, Davy Youmans and Eddie Lee serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 11, 1935, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Lois Walden and the late Edgar Walden Sr. She was a claims adjuster for Cigna Insurance Co. and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Henry Reppard Gibson of Moultrie; a brother, Eddie Walden and wife Glenda of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be tonight, Sept. 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home (www.harrellfairclothfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
