Dock Terry, about 19, was run over and killed on Highway 64, 1 1/2 miles west of Savannah about 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 17.
Mr. Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Terry of Morris Chapel, was walking east on the north side of the highway when Snodgrass, County Supt. of school, stopped and offered him a ride. Terry started across the highway to accept the office when he was hit by a westbound car driven by ****, 18, of Savannah.
Terry was taken to the hospital in Jackson by Shackelford ambulance but died soon after arrival.
