Gene Earl Campbell, 66, passed away on Dec. 9, 2016, at Alaska Regional Medical Center.

Gene was born in Moscow, Idaho, to Earl and Helen Campbell, on May 7, 1950.

After graduating high school, Gene joined the Navy in 1970, served there for 4 years and got a Certificate of Nomination for the Armed Forces. He later was a security guard for different companies.

He is survived by his sister, Bonita Pudence of Wasilla, Alaska.

The Memorial Service will be held on Dec. 23, 2016, at 1 p.m., at Ft. Richardson National Cemetery. Afterwards, he will then be buried at Ft. Richardson Cemetery.

Funeral Services were entrusted to Legacy Funeral Homes - Wasilla Heritage Chapel.
