Marissa Paige Ramos, 17, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Daughter of Mario A. and Julieta E. (Escobar) Ramos of Stoughton, she was born in Quincy. Marissa was in her junior year at Stoughton High School. She also was a cashier at Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton for the past year. She was active in both Student Council at Stoughton High School and Stoughton Youth Soccer. She enjoyed photography, playing soccer, shopping and Disney.
In addition to her parents, Marissa is survived by her brother, Cameron A. Ramos of Stoughton. She was the granddaughter of Antonio and Maria Ramos and Antonio Escobar all of Stoughton and the late Maria Escobar. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, May 30 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Marissa's memory may be made to Healing Little Hearts, PO Box 1535, Mattapoisett, MA 02739.
