Suggested edit: Hello according to many dna matching cousins. Her name is Dorcus Forrester her father is William George Forrester and mother is Mary Wilmer. I don't know where Carol Wilson had gotten their info from. But my dna on ancestry shows shows different. Elizabeth Cook born 1805 is my line and all Elizabeth kids are by an unknown father possible a slave or a cousin of hers is the father to them. The father to Elizabeth kids is also not George P.W. Cook like most think. Because he was married to a Margret Hay a few states away and no dna matching to him or his parents. These changes don't need to be made but more research of records and dna needs to be look into before any changes are made or assuming she is a Jones or Miller . As I believe base on my dna matches to Dorcas parents the current info is incorrect. Dorcas is my 4th great grandmother Elizabeth her daughter is my 3rd great grandmother her son son James Cook is my 2nd great grandfather. His son is Josiah "Joseph" Stingley Cook is my great grandfather his daughter Rilda Cook is my grandmother. If someone needs to look at my dna kit to confirm this its A640536 on Gedmatch and is attach to my tree on ancestry.com. Many trees has Dorcas surname as Jones or Miller but when researching with dna none of those match up. I can even show a screen shot of how the dna matches line up to Dorcas parents if needed . I was going to send a message to the one who has this grave upload on Find A Grave but they have their messages block. This will be sad news to many I know but as I have said the dna shows different info for Dorcas. Her birth and death dates may not even be correct.
