ROBINSON, Nellie M. (Derossett) 71, of New Port Richey, FL passed away December 16, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Louisville, KY, she moved to St. Petersburg, FL with her family and graduated from Northeast High School in 1965. She eventually moved to New Port Richey, FL where she resided most of her life. She was a surveyor and retired, after many years of service, from Pasco County government as the Manager of the Surveyor/GIS Unit.

She was incredibly active in her community as a member of numerous social and fraternal organizations, and volunteered many generous hours for a long list of community service agencies.

She is well-known locally and will be remembered by many for being a true and classic Southern lady, intelligent and hard working, always doing for others before herself.

Funeral services will be provided by Dobies Funeral Home of Hudson with a graveside service at Grace Memorial Gardens at 11 am Wednesday, December 21.
