Doug "Duggo" McKinney, 60, of McIntosh, Alabama, died on December 15, 2016. He and his wife were the victims of gun violence. He is survived by two sons, four grandchildren, great-grandchild, mother, four brothers, sister, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward McKinney; grandparents, R.O. and Bertie Austin; and step-father, Jessie Spurlin. He was a native and resident of Calhoun County most of his life and had lived in the McIntosh area for the past five years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Funeral: 12:00 p.m. December 21, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home.
