Vanessa Lynn Lovell, 56, of Kingsland joined her family in Heaven on Dec. 18, 2016.

Vanessa was born in Charleston, S.C., on June 19, 1960. She was the daughter of Dennis Lovell Sr. and Judy (Lovell) Hanrahan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy (Lovell) Hanrahan; her stepfather, Michael Hanrahan; and her grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a stepbrother.

She is survived by her father, Dennis Lovell Sr.; her stepmother, Mary Helen Coffee; her brother, Dennis Gary Lovell Jr.; her sister, Sara (Lovell) Sullivan; sister, Cara Hampton; sister, Truth Garrett; sister-in-law, Alicia Lovell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that love her.

Vanessa was a member of Journey Church in Yulee, Fla. She was a giving and loving person who strived to help others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and loved her cats, Shadow and Sweetie-pie.

“We will miss you and love you. See you later, Van.”

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Camden County.
