GREENVILLE - James Wesley Dennis, 70, of Greenville, died Monday, December 19, 2016, at 8:48AM at his home. Mr. Dennis was born December 10, 1946, in Muhlenberg County. He was a coal miner and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Averil Dennis.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wilson Dennis; sons Brian (Tracy) Dennis of Central City, Scott (Bobbi) Dennis of Huntsville, KY, Andy Dennis of Greenville, and Matt Dennis of Greenville; grandchildren Summer Dennis, Jordan Dennis, Kendal Dennis, Carson Dennis, Bradley Dennis, Emily Dennis, Samantha Smith, Traci Bias, Kayla Inglis, Blake Inglis, Konnor Smith, Jayden Justis, Kane Justis, Aiden Justis, and Addy Justis, and brothers Billy Dennis, David (Edna) Dennis, and Kenny (Lana) Dennis.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Vickie LeGrand officiating, assisted by Rev. Shane Garrett. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
