Keith died December 17, 2016, in Ankeny, Iowa.
He graduated from Monona, IA, H.S.; served with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War; attended Coe College; was a charter member of the Ankeny Izaak Walton League; operated Welch’s 66 Service in Des Moines; and retired from Lister Industries, LTD.
He married Pat Thompson on December 27, 1958 and is survived by her and their five children: Kyle (Mike, dec’d) Helm, Karol (Craig) Greer, Keith II (Missy), Kent (Robin), and Kara (Clint) Wahe, plus several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nancy Welch.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, at Merle Hay Funeral Home, with family visitation beginning at 10. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
