Mrs. Maude Marion McFarland, 66, widow of the late Alexander McFarland, died Oct 11, 1949 in Allegany Hospital where she had been a patient since Sep 27.
She was born in Pekin on Dec 2, 1882, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Mackay) Darnley.
Mrs. McFarland is survived by a son, John Raymond McFarland, Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Alexa Idoni, Detroit; and three sister, Mrs. Catherine Hardinger, Mrs. Jane Turnbull, and Mrs. Christine Doolan, all of Lonaconing.
Services will be conducted at the Stein Funeral Home Oct 13 by Rev. William A Eisenberger of First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
