Sharon S. Dillon, 72, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:22 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Sharon was born in Carbondale, Illinois on September 29, 1944, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Stanley Dillon. She was a retired Secretary from Chester Mental Health in Chester, Illinois. Sharon was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. Sharon had a great passion for painting, drawing, poetry, sewing and making crafts.

Sharon was preceded in death by her Parents.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Wilson’s Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Bill Stoklosa officiating. Burial will follow in Cobden Cemetery, Cobden, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to P.A.W.S. Place.
