Sue Caplinger
We regret to chronicle the death of a lovely and amiable woman - Mrs. Sue Caplinger, wife of Samuel D. Caplinger - who departed this life in the "stillness of the Sabbath night", after months of suffering from a complication of troubles, all of which she bore without a murmur. She was certainly one of earth's beautiful characters, and those who knew her best, loved her most. Her Christian life shone thro' every act, and truly can it be said of her, - "She hath done what she could," and henceforth there is laid up for her, a beautiful starry crown, in that bright beyond, where pangs of disease are never known. She was a faithful member of the Christian Church here, and until sickness overtook her, she was rarely absent from any church service. She leaves a husband, a son, George, and daughter, Mrs. Dillard Ricketts, together with legions of friends to mourn her loss, but, dear sorrowing ones, look beyond these earth-clouds to the battlements of the heavenly land, where your loved one, now awaits to welcome you.
