Michael Lewis Grubb, age 60, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1956, in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late, Lewis Franklin Grubb and Sara Grubb Walters. Michael was owner of East Tennessee and Bristol Wrecker Service. He was a mason and member of the Jericho Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert "Bob" Walters; sisters, Jackie Leigh Grubb Walker and Louise Ownby; and brother, Danny Grubb. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Blackburn and her mother, Mama Sue; his children, Brandi Easterling and husband, Ronald, Justin Grubb and wife, Shera, Angie Severt and husband, Terry, Wade Booher, and Chelsey Booher; grandchildren, Mia, Mariah, Brandon, Makya, Neela, Macy, Isaac, Avery, Aspen, and Carter; brothers, Roy Grubb and wife, Barbara, and Joe Rutter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a multitude of special friends. The funeral service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Branch officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service. The interment will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 19391 Bethel Rd Abingdon, VA 24212.
