Eva Mae Hill Gerheim, 94, of Washington Township, formerly of Vandergrift, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at West Haven Manor.
She was born June 18, 1922, in Washington Township, the daughter of the late Artie A. and Cora Shingler Hill.
Before her retirement, she was employed by Armitage's Market in Apollo, and West Haven Nursing Home in Washington Township.
She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Oklahoma.
Eva loved to bowl, and participated in many local ladies' leagues.
She is survived by her son, N. Blake Gerheim, and his wife, Norma, of Harrisburg; a daughter, Merry Carol Marsh, and her husband, Alfred, of Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Sterner, of Rochester, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Gerheim, in 1973; three brothers; and five sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Pastor Lee Rupert will officiate. Interment will follow in Pine Run Church Cemetery, Washington Township.)
