Age 88 of Dalton - Son of Albert and Ruth Belcher Beauchemin. Mr. Beauchemin’s wife, Pauline A. “Polly” (Hart), whom he married May 5, 1945, in Notre Dame Church in Pittsfield, died January 1, 2007.

Born in Pittsfield, November 1, 1919, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and attended Pittsfield High School; he died at Berkshire Medical Center.

A World War II veteran, he served with the United States Army Air Corps from November 4, 1942 to January 8, 1946, having earned the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He was employed by General Electric Company as a tool designer for 42 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century and Pensioners Clubs, and a member of the Wahconah Country Club. He was avid golfer.

He leaves his brother, Kenneth A. Beauchemin of Pittsfield; a sister, Marie Paladino of Lenox; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial in Ashuelot Cemetery.
