Randy Dale Green, age 56, of White Oak Road, a loving husband, a wonderful daddy, grandfather and a dear brother, entered into his eternal Heavenly home on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
Mr. Green was born May 7, 1960 to the late William T. Green and the late Evalee Gay Hannah Green. He had resided in Haywood County most of his life and had been employed with Giles Chemical in Waynesville. He was also was a talented self-employed carpenter and also a gifted artist and craftsman. Mr. Green was a faithful and devoted member of Bible Baptist Church in Waynesville. Randy spent many hours among the mountains that he loved hunting and fishing. He will forever be remembered as a man with a giving and caring heart and very often gave so many of his crafted pieces to friends and family. Randy was a blessing to many and will never ever be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Green and Dicie Wells.
Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Pamela Mintz Green; his daughter, Sandy Green of Waynesville; a grandson, Brandon Caldwell of Waynesville; a brother, Thomas Green of Canton; a sister, Virginia Lewis of Waynesville; nephews, James Franklin of Canton and “Mikey” Wells of Canton; Randy’s special dog, “Chester” and his church family and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church in Waynesville. Pastor Dwight Banks and Preacher Aaron Henson will be officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Cover Cemetery in the Hemphill Community. Pallbearers will be Gary Henson, Larry Henson, Roger Henson, Lee Brooks, Phillip Brooks and Andrew Brooks. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 203 Bible Baptist Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786
