Frank Taylor Dill, 77, of 115 Dellwood Drive, died Dec. 16, 2001, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Terry Taylor and Glennie Cook Dill. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Pacific Theater 109th Naval Construction Battalion. He was a graduate of the Citadel, a member of South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers and a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. Mr. Dill was a retired civil engineer with CRS Sirrine Co. and an active member of First Baptist Church in Greenville.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Swann Dill, of the home; two daughters, Deborah L. Dill of Anderson and Barbara D. Space of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Robert E. Dill, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Riley Space, Courtney Space and Andrew Dill; and a foster sister, Thelma Moorhead, of Easley.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Foundation for Childhood Language Disorders, P.O.Box 5776, Greenville, SC 29606.

Service: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Greenville. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:15 p.m., prior to the service, at the church in the narthex.

The family is at the residence. - Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
