at the age of 91. She was born on July 18, 1929 to the late Frank Lloyd and Minnie Dee Smith. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and also an Eastern Star Member in Mineola, Texas. Gree was a loving Mother and Grandmother, her children and grandkids brought her immense joy and filled her life with love. Her main hobby was keeping her yard in perfect shape with an old-fashioned push mower until the young age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel O. W. Barnes; sister Nella
May; and half brother Tullis Smith. Gree is survived by three sons, one daughter, two
daughter-in-laws, and one son-in-law: David Barnes of Mineola, Texas, Danny and Beth
Barnes of Mineola, Texas, Dale and Becky Barnes of Golden, Texas, Jerry and Donna
Isbell of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren: Amber Dollar, Ashley Barnes, Travis
Barnes, Taylor Barnes, Aaron Klingensmith, Allison Fullingim, and Kenneth Barnes;
eight great grandchildren: Cameron Klingensmith, Kasen Barnes, Darrin Wortham,
Madison Barnes, Katie Barnes, Oliver Barnes, Reese Barnes, Kaylyn Barnes; several
nieces, and nephews.
