Billie Walters, 86, of Fort Smith died on Saturday, December 17 in Fort Smith.
She was a retired associate for Wal-Mart in Fort Smith, a member of North Park Baptist Church in Van Buren, and a former member of the Red Hat Society.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 21, in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with private interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth Wakefield and her companion Larry Hearn of Van Buren, Debbie Kendrick and her husband Roger of Van Buren, a son Robert Walters and his wife Sandy of Van Buren, two nephews; Paul Joyce of Broken Arrow, OK, Steven Joyce of Fort Smith, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and two special friends; Billie Rich and David Beshears.
