Victoria Marie ‘Vicki’ Craig, age 41, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her home in Sedro-Woolley, surrounded by her friends and family after a brave battle with brain cancer.
She was born September 27, 1966 in Seattle, Washington to Howard and Kathleen Birkinshaw. She was raised and attended school in Snohomish County and graduated from Mariner High School in 1984.
Vicki was married to Dave Craig on February 14, 1990 in Seattle and they moved to Sedro-Woolley in 1991. She worked as a checker for Food Pavilion and Market Place for 10 years, as well as being involved with her children’s school activities. Vicki enjoyed gardening, her pets, and especially her family.
Vicki will be remembered for her genuine smile and sense of humor that touched many people. She will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know her.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Dave Craig, and her children, Keigan and Jenna Craig, of the family home; her parents, Howard and Kathy Birkinshaw, of Spokane; two brothers: Steve (Patty) Birkinshaw, of Everett, and Mike Birkinshaw, of Burlingon; parents-in-law: Chuck and Marilee Craig, of Tacoma; two brothers-in-law: Mike Craig, of Woodinville, and Scott Craig, of Tacoma; and a sister-in-spirit, Lori Marbet, of Lynnwood.
Funeral Services will be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Wendy Tingley of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church officiating, with interment to follow at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. -
