Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin F. Turner will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Turner Church in Turner Community. Interment will follow in Turner Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Turner, 86, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in DeRidder, LA.
He was a member of the Sugartown Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.C.R. and Sina Turner; his wife, Naomi B. Turner; three brothers, Abe Turner, Herman Turner and A.V. Turner and one sister, Irene Earl.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his two sons, Bruce Turner and his wife, Angie, of Dayton, TX. and George Turner and his wife, Judy, of Prairieville; two daughters, Elaine Hebert and her husband, Jeff, of Arlington, TX. and Wanda Gilmore and her husband, Kevin, of Sugartown; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
