Ashley Ballard, age 19 of Pleasureville, died Thursday, August 18, 2005 in Sulphur as a result of an automobile accident. She was a 2004 graduate of Henry County High School.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Michael (Alisa) Ashby, Franklinton; father, Tim Smith, Louisville; two sisters: Jamie Phelps, Lanesville, Indiana; Brianna Smith, Louisville; one brother, Matthew Ashby, Franklinton; and grandparents, Ronnie and Elaine Smith, Louisville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 21 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Franklinton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clint Byrnside, Dexter Brierly, Josh Lyons, Casey Chadwell, Chris Montgomery and Phillip Nooner.
