Hyrum Chamberlin, born September 23rd, 1837, Forked River, Monmouth Co., N.J. The first child of Joseph and Amy (Wilbert) Chamberlin. Hyrum died young, shortly before his first birthday in Forked River on September 18th, 1838. Joseph and Amy Chamberlin had five more children die before reaching two years of age. He lies buried in the old Goodluck Cemetery in Forked River, in an unmarked grave by the side of his little cousin Amy Chamberlin, daughter of his Uncle James Madison Chamberlin.
