Chad “Bill” Parker, 81, of Paducah passed away at 3:25 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital.

Mr. Parker was a retired Insurance Agent, and a member of Free Gospel Church of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patsy (Crenshaw) Parker of Paducah; one son, Roger Dean Parker and wife Marilyn of Lovelaceville; three daughters, Barbara Willis and husband John of Portage, IN, Debbie McMillin and husband Gary of Paducah, Teresa Berkley and husband Rodney of Olive Branch, MS; eight grandchildren, Zack Parker, Stephanie Parker, Ron Block, Tiffany Block, Kelli Yates, Brian McMillin, Justin Berkley, Caitlin Carlson; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen Parker and Bessie (Vines) Motes; one son, Tony Parker; four brothers; one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 18. 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with rev. Bob Berkley and Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Mausoleum in Paducah.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or Martha’s Vineyard, PO Box 8307, Paducah, KY 42002-8307.
