Karen Lee Abrahamse Harvey was born on March 1st 1939 in Michigan, she is the adopted daughter of Peter Abrahamse and Alta E. Caauwe Abrahamse. In the 1940 Federal Census she is listed as the only child and it shows adopted child (see below). In the 1950 Federal Census (see below). she is shown to have a sister that is her same age, Elaine (which I would guess is also adopted). Karen graduated from Redford County High School in 1957. She married Robert O'Neal Harvey on November 14, 1959 in Redford, Wayne County, Michigan. They have four sons, Mark Harvey, Clint Harvey, David Harvey, and Clyde Harvey. Karen died on February 13 2016 and was laid to rest by her husband in the Mill Springs National Cemetery(see below).
