Although I never met you, I've heard a lot about you. How brave you were and how badly you wanted to do what you did. You knew that you may or may not come back alive. You wanted to be a hero. Papaw tells me all the time that you told him and Nana "If something happens don't cry... it's what I want to do." Daddy used to always tell me that you were the coolest person ever, that he wished we could have met. He said you were a nut. Well you, daddy, and nana are finally together once again. Terry, you will never be forgotten ...your pictures and medals and boots and many other things are still around and they will be kept and passed down to generations to come. Your stories will also be told. Thanks for being so brave. Brandy Bryson.

He served with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, "The Rock", 173rd Airborne Brigade, USARV.

He was awarded The Combat Infantryman's Badge(CIB),The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and The National Defense Service Medal.
