Timothy “Tim” L. Daugherty, age 64, of Marion and formerly of Lancaster, Ohio, died Monday, December 12, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital following an extended illness.

On July 5, 1952, Tim was born in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late John Anthony and Ruth Charlene (Brown) Daugherty who preceded him in death.

Tim was a member of the Victory Center Church of God in Marion. Over the years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He will be missed by his wife of thirty-five years Debra; children, Ronald (Kelli) Miller, Gregory (Janice) Miller, Timya and Patrick Daugherty; grandchildren, Tyler, Mckaylee, Aaron, Anthony, Evan, and Gracie; nine siblings, Sister Jean Daugherty, T.O.R. of Toronto (OH), Joan (William) Beiter of Lancaster, James (Sheila) of Gales Ferry (CT), Michael (Catherine) of Orange Park (FL), Patrick (Donna) of Burke (VA), Kathleen (Dick) Croft of Canal Winchester, Margaret Burson of Lancaster, Thomas (Mildred) of Columbus, and Dennis of Lancaster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services honoring his life will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 12:00 pm with visitation two hours before service at Victory Center (1190 E. Fairground Rd, Marion, OH 43302) followed by a graveside service at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Minister Mike Nickleson officiating. A Military service will also be conducted in Tim’s honor.

The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the staff at Riverside Hospital as well as the nurses of Marion General ICU for their service, kindness and caring for our husband, father, brother son, and grandfather over the last days of his life.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
