Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Oilton Christ Fellowship in Oilton with desert/coffee afterward in unhurried fellowship. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton, Ok.
Brent was born on February 8, 1962 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Doyle and Rosalie (Ferguson) McBride. He attended and graduated from Cimarron Christian Academy in Oilton. He was nominated for Naismith Hall of Fame due to winning record at Oak Hill Academy. Brent moved to West Virginia for most of his life. He worked for O.G. &E., Key Communications, Huntington Credit Bureau and CSX over the years. His passion was being a music minister/evangelist throughout the years. He enjoyed shooting guns, playing blues style music and like Clint Eastwood movies. Brent moved back to Oklahoma three years ago. He was currently the music minister at the First United Methodist Church in Drumright.
Brent is survived by his sons Michael Douglas McBride of South Charleston, West Virginia, Byrum McBride of South Charleston, West Virginia, brothers Greg McBride of Yale, Ronnie Keen of Yale, sister Lisa Smith and husband Stephen of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, father Doyle McBride and wife Donna of Louisville, Kentucky, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ferguson grandparents and McBride grandparents, cousin Jill Randolph.
