Mrs. Edna Clark Cummins, 88, widow of J. T. Cummins, died in Drew, Miss. Tuesday, July 2, following a lengthy illness. She had been hospitalized in north Mississippi since early January. At the time of her death she was residing with her only daughter, Mrs. Clera A. Yelverton, Sr., in Magee.
Services were held in Drew Wednesday, July 3, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clark of Columbus and Rev. Benton of Drew officiating. Burial was made in Drew cemetery with William and Lord Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by 6 children: F. L. Cummins of Moss Point; J. B. Cummins of Southhaven; W. W. Cummins and A. J. Cummins, both of Greenwood; W. R. Cummins of Drew and Vlrgie Yelverton of Magee; one brother, Joe Clark of Louisville; 30 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren.
