Evelyn L. Ingram, 82, of South Bend, died Thursday, December 16, 2016 at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, IN. The Hammond native was born July 13, 1934 to Earl and Lillian Wolber, who have both preceded her in death. Evelyn attended the Northside Baptist Church in Elkhart for many years. She will be remembered as a person who loved music, singing, and spending time with her family. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Cathi (Matt) Kennedy of Mishawaka and Deborah Price of Goshen; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Dorothy (John) Hartman, Edward (Marge) Wolber, and John Wolber. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jennifer; five sisters, Jeanette, Helen, Carol, Marian, Lillian. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service in Evelyn’s honor will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10 AM with calling one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. The family’s preferred memorial is to the Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
