He was born April 19, 1942 in Carbondale, the son of Chester P. and Mariece Motsinger Pulley.
He is survived by one daughter, April Lynn (husband, Tony) Swan of Brussels; three granddaughters, Morgan Swan, Skylar Swan and Paige Swan, all of Brussels; one brother, the Rev. Gordon E. (wife, Brenda) Pulley, Sr. of Colonial Heights, Va.; and one niece and one nephew.
Mr. Pulley worked in the laundry department at the Jacksonville Developmental Center. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a Chicago Cubs fan, and an avid golfer.
