She was born August 10, 1916 in Knox County and had lived in the Hazleton area for most of her lifetime. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are 11 children, Harold Frederick, Mabel Adkins, Glenda Hope and Kevin Frederick, all of Hazleton, Ronald Frederick of New Mexico, Malvern Frederick of Evansville, Kathryn Stewart of Vincennes, Charles Frederick and Monte Frederick, both of Princeton, Myron Frederick of Kokomo and Diana Eluche of Maryland; 39 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sarah Moyes of Vincennes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fremond Harold Frederick in 1991; two sons, Eldon and Herman Frederick; a daughter, Cheryl Theriac; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a brother, Herman Wood.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawrenceville City Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Ill.
There will be no visitation. Friends may meet at the cemetery for a graveside service. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
