Robert "Bob" Samuel Bloxsom, 76, of Siler City died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Mr. Bloxsom was born in Alamance County on September 7, 1940 the son of William H. and Emily (Crutchfield) Bloxsom. Bob was a member of The Broken Chains Biker Church of Burlington, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he served two tours of duty and a retired law enforcement officer. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, a member of HOG (Harley Owner Group). Bob had a home in Myrtle Beach where he enjoyed spending time and loved his canine companion, Lil Bits.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Moon Bloxsom, his high school sweet heart, the love of his life, and his parents.

He is survived by daughters: Michelle Widger and husband, Chris of Norfolk, VA., Lynn Green and husband, Robert "Chris" of Middlesex County, VA, Jerilyn Becker and husband, Gary of Amherst, VA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Moore's Chapel Cemetery, Moore's Chapel Cemetery Road, Graham with Rev. Steve Hinton officiating.

The family will receive friends at the family home following the service.

Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or Pediatric Brain Cancer.
