Mark A. Brodie, 63 of Waterloo, died Wednesday, December 14 at his home of natural causes.
He was born April 24, 1953 in Waterloo, son of Charles and Gladys Richards Brodie.
Mark graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1971. He was employed with various restaurants in the Waterloo area.
Mark is survived by his brother, Steve (Carol) Brodie of Waterloo and his sister, Colleen Sonksen also of Waterloo; nephews, John Brodie, Jason (Heather) Brodie, Joe Brodie, Greg (Janet) Brodie and Brian (Maegan) Sonksen and a niece, Christi (Chandon) Hager; great nephews, Brandon Brodie, Jordan, Colton (Ashley) and C.J. Hager and Elliott Sonksen and great nieces, Grace Brodie, Bree (Johnny) Hager, Abigail and Madison Brodie and Emelia “Emma” Sonksen.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charlie Brodie.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
