De Lora Hardy Leavitt, 78, a resident of North Las Vegas since 1962, passed away Dec. 1, 2016. She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Joseph Leavitt; and two sons, Douglas J. Leavitt and Brent La Von Leavitt; and two brothers, B. Warren Hardy and Eldon B. Hardy. She is survived by her children, Brenda Falls, Brad (Tami) Leavitt, Kim (Jeff) Prisbrey and Denise Leavitt; 30 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 9-9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, with service following at 10 a.m., both at the LDS Church, 2401 E. Tonopah Ave. Burial following at 1 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
