She was born January 8, 1926 in Westminster, MD the daughter of the late Charles E. Hoff, Sr. and the late Hilda Niner Hoff.
She was the wife of the late Howard W. “Pappy” Legore.
She is survived by her sons Robert Legore and wife Tracy, Richard Legore and wife Leigh, and daughter in law Wanda Legore. She was predeceased by son Ronald Legore; she was one of 12 children; survived by siblings Ruth Buckingham, Ralph Hoff, Raymond Hoff, James Hoff, Charlotte Ogle, and Larry Hoff; she was predeceased by siblings Martha Hoff, Pauline Muller, Charles Hoff, Jr., Frances “Bud” Hoff and Norman Hoff; Elsie is also survived by 5 grandchildren and their spouses- Aimee and Greg Talbot, Scott and Jeanne Legore, Tim and Kim Legore, Kristin and Dragos Mandruleanu and Kara and William Foshay and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded by one grandchild Rob Legore.
Elsie retired from Black and Decker in 1987 after 21 years of service. She was a lifetime member of New Hope U.M. Church and a charter member of Winfield’s Ladies Auxiliary.
Following a funeral service with the Pastor Mary A. Buzby of New Hope U.M. Church in New Windsor officiating, interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD.
