For many years she was a city employee— most namely a Records Clerk with the Garden Grove Police Department.
She also gave many years of volunteer service, both as an associate and one of the directors, to the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival. The cornerstone of her years of loyalty to the festival was her photography; there wasn't many people who didn't get their picture taken by Pat!
Retiring mostly around the new millennium, Pat soon after moved to Massachusetts to be closer to family. She passed away in December of 2006 and was survived by her sister Harriett F. Land & her husband Charles M. of Dedham; Barbara Berghaus of Brookline; nieces and nephews C. Michael Land, Kerri Land, Kimberly and Robin Berghaus and loving friend Linda Aiken.
Services were private and under the direction of George F. Doherty & Sons, Dedham.
Pat is truly missed...
