James Clifford “JC” Allinder, 88 of Hayden passed on to be with the Lord on December 10th, 2016 at his residence. He was a Deacon and founding member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Hayden. “Bro J.C.” as his church family called him, served the Lord over 40 years in various capacities from Deacon and Sunday School teacher to general handyman and Brotherhood breakfast gravy-maker. He found his greatest joy when serving the church and others in the community. Along with his wife and family, he loved to travel and was an avid follower of Alabama football and Southern Gospel quartet music. Retiring after 41 years of service with B’ham Stove & Range, Birmingham, he founded his own business specializing in heating and air conditioning service. He was pre-deceased by parents, Walter and Cliffadora Allinder; brother, Ralph Wallo Allinder; and nephew, Gary Wayne Allinder.
